Controller and scope
This policy describes ThumbLens, published by FORECOMM SARL, on iOS and Android. Browsing thumblens.io requires no account. The Google tag loads with Analytics storage denied by default: before you consent, no Analytics cookie is set, although Google may receive limited cookieless technical signals. After you consent, Google Analytics measures website traffic and may set cookies. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. This does not concern documents processed locally by the app.
Local processing
Opened documents, rendered pixels, detected QR and other 2D codes, OCR text and useful data are processed locally. No document, crop, QR code or OCR content is sent to Forecomm. ThumbLens does not include a remote AI analysis service.
Storage and deletion
Imported files and recent sessions are kept in the app’s private storage to support resuming. You can remove recent documents from the app home screen. Deleting the app also removes its local data, subject to any device backup features you enabled.
Voluntary sharing
Sharing an original document or a Pro capture opens the system share sheet. You explicitly choose the destination app. Cancelling sends nothing. The chosen app’s privacy terms then apply.
Purchases
Purchases and restorations are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. ThumbLens checks the entitlement tied to the platform account; Forecomm does not receive your payment details. With no ThumbLens account, a purchase cannot transfer between Apple and Google.
Third-party dependencies and services
The iOS app uses Apple platform frameworks plus Kotlin standard library, kotlinx.serialization and ZXing-C++ under Apache 2.0. No third-party advertising, analytics or network SDK is integrated in the verified version.
Support form
When you use the support form, your name, email address, subject and message are sent to FORECOMM SARL so that we can answer your request. This information is not used for advertising and is retained only as long as needed to handle and follow up on support. Do not send tickets, personal documents, QR codes or sensitive data through this form.
